MDSC Advocacy Day at the State House
Every year, MDSC holds an Advocacy day at the Massachusetts State House at lunchtime. After speeches and learning about different types of policy, advocates then are able to go through the State House to meet with legislations to tell their personal stories and lobby for Down Syndrome priorities.
This year’s focus was an Act Creating Higher Education Opportunities for Students with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders and other Development Disabilities.
